Creepy Dad

Creepy Dad

I just asked you a question, son.

Why are you giving me that look?

Don't give me that look.

I don't think I much like your attitude, son.

Perhaps you should join us in a song.

We should gather in the living room,

And sing a joyful tune.

What do you say, son?

Can we give that a whirl?

Clarion Call

Clarion Call

I used a Pentel Brush reservoir pen for this one. I love using it, but the ink depth isn't that amazing and you really need the right paper for it.

Stan and Rich #2: Rich's Homework

Rich has a discussion with his professor about his study habits.

Delays, always delays

Holy hot balls in a bowl of balls topped with a sprinkling of balls, the past couple of weeks have been truly balls for updates. Stan and Rich will appear as soon as I can tear myself away from my solidly booked schedule of conferences, appointments, and crippling mental blocks that are destroying me as we speak. The last Jim took a lot to make, and I'd hate to upload something that wasn't at least just as good.

Pre-Announcement and Plug

The newest Jim is finished and will be uploaded tomorrow. By this point, I think my style's developed to where I can consider the comic officially "started". Although I've already made 4, I tend to think of them as prototypes, leading up to what I want to make, here and now. The characters aren't going to be "different" in terms of personality, but they'll definitely look slicker, the composition will be more ambitious, and the settings will be more detailed. I'm really satisfied with this latest comic, and things can only go up from here.
